ANSA: Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte visited the Bufalini hospital where he met two of the people who suffered from extensive burns after the explosion in Bologna.
The President of the Council has spent a quarter of an hour in the large burns department of the Romagnola facility, where since yesterday a thirty-one-year-old policeman from the province of Lecce and a young 17-year-old Bulgarian remained involved in the explosion. The conditions of the two patients are stable, both are not in danger of life despite the second degree burns are considered profound. The premier, who left the hospital without issuing declarations, is to visit Cesena and Bologna, where he will meet other people injured in the explosion yesterday at the Ospedale Maggiore.
In the meantime the A14 highway was re-opened today at 0900.
The road was closed after parts of it collapsed following yesterday’s explosion.
