EU Summit : French President Macron’s comments

French President Emmanuel Macron told EuroNews that the deal showed “European cooperation” had prevailed over national interests: “Europe will have to live with migratory pressures for a long time. We must succeed in standing up to this challenge whilst being true to our values.”

Earlier he tweeted “Accord trouvé sur les migrations : une approche européenne confirmée, un agenda complet acté (action extérieure, protection des frontières, responsabilité et solidarité européennes), les propositions françaises adoptées.”
