Pope Francis’ cousin to be official translator of Pope’s apostolic visit to Thailand
Sister Ana Rosa of the Congregation of the Salesian Sisters, is Pope Francis’ second cousin and lives and work in Thailand.
Fluent in Thai, she will oversee the translations during the sermons for the mass which her cousin Pope Francis, whom she endearingly calls by his first name, Jorge, will deliver during his apostolic visit in Thailand in the coming days.
She was born in Argentina 77 years ago, and less than a year after becoming a nun she was sent to Thailand, over half a century ago, where she joined the mission in Udon Thani.
