The Times reports that the police are widening an investigation into false overtime claims beyond the Traffic Control Unit. Sources told the paper that as many as 300 officers are being probed internally.
The paper also speaks to Steward Health Care chief executive Armin Ernst who said that the company has been carrying out forensic accounting to establish ‘reliable audited positions’ for the three years prior to the concession transfer of the former state hospitals.
