Animals across Spain’s main cities are reclaiming public spaces that are now almost completely devoid of humans due to the national lockdown imposed in a bid to slow down the spread of the pandemic COVID-19 disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

Spain on Wednesday registered 738 fatalities from the coronavirus over the past 24 hours in the steepest increase of the death toll since the epidemic hit the country, the health ministry reported
