People observe the interactive model of the metropole at the pavilion ‘Model of Moscow’ in the ‘Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy’, commonly known as VDNH (or VDNkH) park, in Moscow, Russia.
The 1:400 scale model of Moscow covers an area of 368 square meters and precisely depicts the city area within the Boulevard Ring with more than 20,000 buildings and structures.
A team of 60 specialists including artists, architects, graphic artists and mock-up builders worked on the project that was opened in August 2014 and is permanently worked on and maintained since then. There are reportedly also plans for an enlargement.
