Italian singer Al Bano blacklisted by the Ukrainian Government
Ukraine’s Ministry of Culture declared popular Italian singer Al Bano as a threat to national security and hence blacklisted him.
The veteran Italian entertainer has now been included on a national security blacklist published by the Ukrainian government’s culture ministry on Monday.
The singer, whose real name is Albano Carrisi, is one of the 147 names on the list .
No explanation is given why individuals are listed as a national security threat, but Al Bano in the past has expressed admiration for Russian president Vladimir Putin.
