High Speed Train evacuated in Frankfurt after bomb threat

A high-speed train carrying 500 passengers has been evacuated in Frankfurt after a bomb threat.

The train was travelling from Zurich, the Swiss capital, to the German city of Kiel when it was halted by police at Frankfurt Sued station.

Officers also cleared some platforms at the station, in the south of the city, before beginning a search of the train.
