BREXIT – A “hell” of a day
If Dante was around, he would have to re-create some scenes in his epic poem Divina Commedia as the gloves of diplomacy made way to externalisations by senior EU officials vis-a-vis Brexit dealings.
Here’s what was said today.
“I’ve been wondering what that special place in hell looks like, for those who promoted Brexit, without even a sketch of a plan how to carry it out safely.” – Donald Tusk
“I’m less Catholic than my good friend Donald. He strongly believes in heaven and by opposite in hell. I believe in heaven and I have never seen hell, apart [from] during the time I was doing my job here. It’s a hell.” – Jean Claude Juncker
Lucifer would not welcome Brexiteers who backed leaving the EU with no plan. – Guy Verhofstadt
