Theresa May is set to face a grilling from senior MPs over her Brexit agenda as she seeks to garner support for her deal with Brussels, Sky News reports.
The prime minister is expected to receive intensive questioning from the Commons liaison committee, which comes after the Bank of England warned leaving the EU without an agreement could lead to economic collapse. (Read More Here)
Mrs May’s deal has reportedly gained support from the prominent Brexiteer and Commons leader Andrea Leadsom.
Labour has also tabled an amendment to the government’s motion to approve Mrs May’s Brussels agreement in an attempt to block the prime minister’s “botched Brexit”.
