Malta: Public Health Superintendent denies resignation claims

The Times claims that disagreements have developed between the Office of the Prime Minister and health authorities over fears of a new wave of Covid-19 infections. Rumours that the Public Health Superintendent had resigned were dismissed by Prof. Gauci herself.

Another story reports on the first hearing of the complication of evidence against four men accused of causing the death of Miriam Pace, when her home collapsed in Ħamrun in February. A court heard that the workers had been using a hydraulic excavator on the site.
