Donald Trump has been “shooting holes in the Constitution” and should be impeached, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has said. He added “to preserve our Constitution, our democracy, our basic integrity, he should be impeached.”

It is the first time Biden has called for such drastic measures to be taken against the president.

Democrats launched their impeachment probe amid claims Trump tried to pressure Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelenskiy to investigate  Biden while at the same time withholding military aid.
