An Italian notice published by the Daily Mail has been translated to reveal the Obamas are planning to visit the region between Saturday through Monday and, as is the case for any former American president, strict security measures will be in place.
Mayor Roberto Pozzi told Italian outlet Estadao, “The parking lot at the back of Villa Oleandra [the Clooneys’ home] will be closed for two days, Saturday and Sunday, because it should be available for the security service cars. In the territory and also on the lake, numerous men and law enforcement agencies will be in service.”
The Obamas will be joining the A-list couple at a “charity dinner for the Clooney Foundation for Justice on Saturday evening”. The presidential couple’s daughters Malia and Sasha are also believed to be attending too, as the college students have been photographed travelling with their parents.
