The Independent says that the court upheld a request by civil society group Repubblika for fresh claims involving three ministers to be included in an ongoing inquiry into the government’s deal with Vital Global Healthcare.

In another story, the paper asks Minister Ian Borg whether Planning Authority board members should step aside over their vote in favour of a controversial Qala project. The minister resisted calls for resignation but said changes to the rural development policy are needed.
