In a message posted on Twitter, the Arsenal midfielder Mesut Özil said: “Pray for everyone involved in the Leicester helicopter incident #PrayForLeicester.” The Juventus and Argentina striker, Paolo Dybala, said: “A sad day for football. My thoughts go to the victims in #leicester.” The Newcastle United manager Rafael Benítez said: “Our prayers are with everyone involved with Leicester City FC.”
