Two persons lost their life at sea in two separate incidents. In the first case a fisherman, Rokku Bonnici was carried away by a wave in Wied Iz- Zurrieq. Incidentally the elder fisherman died in the same location where he had saved the life of a man from drowning two years ago. The police have arrested two men after finding more than 100 grammes of cocaine and 50 grammes of heroin in their possession. The two men are a 33-year-old from Qormi and a 19-year-old from Valletta. €7,000 was also found on their person. Malta Independent
