Corporate News: BATS Ltd Now Licensed To Conduct Maintenance of Boeing B737 and B777 Aircraft

Bravo Aircraft Technical Services Limited (BATS) has announced that it has recently enhanced its already impressive maintenance scope of approval with the addition of the Boeing B737 (Classic and New Generation) and B777-200/300 series aircraft.

BATS now has TM Civil Aviation Directorate approval for the conduct of line maintenance, Aircraft On Ground services and routine inspections on the Airbus A320 family (including NEO), the widely operated B737 family with CFM 56 engines, and the B777 carrying either General Electric (GE90) or Rolls Royce (RB 211 Trent 800) engines.… Be Informed

Libya repatriates 164 illegal immigrants from Nigeria to their country. Almost 680,000 migrants arrived in the country in May

The Libyan Anti-Illegal Immigration Authority in Tareeq Al-Sikka in Tripoli repatriated 164 illegal immigrants from Nigeria to their country on Thursday.

The authority said the Nigerian migrants were repatriated home via Mitiga Airport in Tripoli in coordination with the International Organization for Migration (IOM)

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) said that nearly 680,000 illegal immigrants arrived in Libya in May.… Be Informed

In a raucous rally in a sweltering gymnasium north of Columbus, Ohio, Trump pitched for the GOP candidate up in a special election next week and defiantly questioned the idea that, historically, the party that controls the White House suffers in the midterms, declaring “but I say why?”

Venezuela’s President survives drone ‘assassination attempt’

Update:  Opposition leaders in Venezuela have warned that the government might use an apparent assassination attempt against President Nicolas Maduro as an excuse to crack down on legitimate dissent.
